IPL changed Indian cricket: Shahid Afridi

Former star all-rounder Shahid Afridi says that the Indian Premier League (IPL) has changed Indian cricket.

While talking on a private TV show during the World Cup, the host asked Shahid Afridi that it is said that India is a batting powerhouse and Pakistan is a bowling powerhouse. Why is this? Not only the batsmen, but also the bowlers have started getting along well with the rest of India. Why?
In response to the question, Shahid Afridi said that the quality of cricket has changed and India's population is one and a half billion. Earlier, it was said that batsmen come from India and bowlers from Pakistan, but both bowlers and batsmen have been coming from Pakistan.

The former captain said that now that Indian bowlers have started eating meat, they have become a little bit tougher and then IPL has changed Indian cricket.

India worked, invested and talent emerged: Shahid Afridi

He further said that after Ganguly, Dhoni managed the senior players well, it is true that the style of Indian cricket changed under Dhoni's captaincy, after IPL i.e. India got enough talent through domestic cricket because India made the investment in the right place, they brought down a big player like Rahul Dravid and handed over the entire domestic cricket to him because Rahul Dravid knows what a big player needs from the beginning, say India. Worked, invested and now new talent is emerging in front of them.

On the other hand, Shahid Afridi requested Zaka Ashraf during the conversation that you should do such things during the chairmanship that when you are not on that seat, you should be reminded that the chairman came, leave the above criteria, grassroots. Work at the level to bring out new talent.
