Respecting seniors, Babar stopped Afghan cricketer Muhammad Nabi from tying his braces

Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam told how senior players are respected.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat in the match against Afghanistan in the ICC World Cup on Monday.

Pakistan's batting against Afghanistan was going on when Pakistan captain Babar Azam's shoe strap on the crease came undone.

Usually during a cricket match, when the batsman's shoelace comes loose, a player from the fielding side shows sportsmanship and ties the lace.

In the match between Afghanistan and Pakistan, after seeing Babar's shoelace untied, the senior player of the Afghan team came to Muhammad Nabi Babar and started bending down to tie his shoelace. However, out of respect for the senior player, Babur prohibited Muhammad Nabi from touching his shoes and tied the strap himself.

These moments of the match were caught on camera and the video went viral on social media, with users praising Babar's act.
An X-user named Haroon wrote that Babur Azam did not allow the Prophet to wear braces. This is Babur Azam's respect for elders.

It should be noted that in the 22nd match of the ICC ODI World Cup, Pakistan set a target of 283 runs to Afghanistan for victory.
