He said that a separate seaplane runway has been established at the Red Sea International (RSI) airport, the home base of Fly Red Sea, which runs parallel to the airport's main terminal and through which a dedicated completed seaplane will reach the terminal. In addition to Red Sea Global choosing to fuel its fleet using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), the company is also exploring fully electric ships with hydrogen-electric propulsion technology. Cessna is working with ZeroAvia to retrofit the Caravan Seaplane.
